Some call it falling of the wagon, others say "I've been bad" why does something which is good for us seem like such hard work?
What I hear time and time again is people saying “I start off really well and then I just stop, it’s as thought something is blocking me” The inevitable human resistance to change, when you start to do well, you might feel a strong explicable urge to stop practising positive health, this does generally occur just as you are beginning to see changes in a noticeably positive way.

Everyone of us resists change at some level, no matter whether it’s for the worse or the better, our body, brain and behaviour have a built in tendency to stay the same within rather narrow limits and to snap back, it’s a good thing if you were to consider your body temperature to move up or down by 10% you would be in trouble.
This state of maintaining an equilibrium, which results in a resistance to change, is called homeostasis and its characterised by all self regulatory systems. From bacteria to humans to families to whole organisations, it applies to psychological states behavioural and physical functioning.
Consider the central heating system in your house, the thermostat on the wall senses the room temperature, when the temperature on a cold day drops below the set level; the thermostat sets an electrical signal that turns the central heating on. The heating completes the loop by sending heat to the room in which the thermostat is located; when the temperature reaches the set level the thermostat sends an electrical signal back to the heater to turn it off.
Thus maintaining homeostasis keeping a room at the right temperature takes just one feedback look, if you were consider the maintenance of a human body in a state of homeostasis it take trillions of interweaving electrochemical signal to course through the blood stream.
The problem is homeostasis works to keep things as they are, even if they are not very good, for example you might take up jogging and really enjoy it until you experience an uncomfortable emotion or feel dizzy or strange maybe feel like you are going to die, at some level your unconscious that this exercise is dangerous and homeostasis kicks in sending alarm bells and signalling that a significant change in the system has occurred change in heart rate, respiration metabolism, you will need to stop immediately, remember homeostasis is an unconscious process it doesn’t know the difference between positive and negative change. it resists all change after x amount of years doing what you are doing your body thinks “hey I survived until now” at the beginning of change for the better is interpreted as a threat.
Resistance is generally proportionality to the size and speed of change, not whether the change is favourable or unfavourable.
So the Question you might be asking is
How do I change for the better, and make it last?
Change is inevitable we are changing all the time, so we are already know how to deal with homoeostasis. This may let you know how much potential you have within you.You may feel as though you are sabotaging your best efforts, you may get resistance from your family members, friends, colleagues, but ultimately it’s your choice how you want to spend your time and effort staying on the right path for you.

4) Create stability
