End the struggle with weight loss,
Hypnotherapy and Hypnosis offer a long term solution which incorporates happiness. So says Alexia Elliott,Clinical Hypnotherapist, Master practitioner of NLP &TLT at Empowerment Hypnotherapy Leicester: weight loss leicester

I would be rich, if I was given a pound for every client who walked into my office and said "I have tried every diet, I've seen every weightless expert, I know about dieting & weightless I know what to eat and what not to eat, but I just can't seem to lose weight, , Alexia you're my last hope."Have you considered why so many diets fail? Statistics show that 95% of diets don'twork and people don't lose weight; ironically we blame ourselves for the weight loss diet not working and not the process of dieting itself. Diets are a multi billion pound industry, I wonder if diets really were a successful weight loss technique if it would be such a lucrative market.

Diets are short term solutions to weight loss, there are based on deprivation, rules and regulations. Dieting is another word for short term starvation. Each time you eat something which isn't "good" you have broken one of the rules, which often gets interpreted into "I have no willpower" which can lead to every eating situation, every violation to the rules of the diet, you begin to feel more and more out of control, you may say to yourself "I'll try harder next time" "tomorrow I'll start again" for many people tomorrow is about self punishment for being bad, maybe it will be the latest fad diet that is endorsed by a airbrushed celebrity in one of the a glossy magazines, with the hope this will lead to successful weight loss.Weight loss isn't about willpower, despite many dieting companies fostering this lie. If your body has been starved you will be obsess about food.

The real issue here is that you are fighting Biology, your body needs nourishment. So if long term weight loss isn't, a symptom of dieting what is?- The feeling of knowing you are going on a diet can bring on urges and craving for "bad food"- At the end of a weight loss diet there is the celebratory "end of a diet binge" followed with large portions of guilt. A study showed the 49% of people who end a diet will binge.- Having little trust in self, weight loss dieting teaches us to not trust the body-Feeling you don't deserve to eat because your overweight- The last supper: every weigh loss diet is preceded by consuming the foods you won't be allowed to eat- Social withdrawal since it's hard to stay on a weight loss diet and go out for meals or to parties it's easier to just not go-

Sluggish metabolism: each weight loss diet teaches the body to adapt the next self imposed famine (another diet)How does Empowerment Hypnotherapy's weight loss system work?Empowerment Hypnotherapy's, philosophy on weight loss is about not only changing your relationship with food, but changing your relationship with yourself. What I have noticed consistently when working with past clients, is that despite them perusing endless weight loss diets they don't like themselves anyway.
I asked them has the self loathing helped?
Has dwelling on your imperfections made you slimmer?
Do you think it would easier to look and feel good if you actually liked yourself?

Focusing on your body in such a negative way isn't helpful. The worse you feel about yourself, the more the mental torture continues, ending this battle is a starting point Judith Rodin a body image expert points out " you don't need to lose weight first in order to take care of yourself, in fact the process actually happens quite in the reverse"Empowerment Hypnotherapy's approach is about making long term change, which in turn gives you a positive relationship with yourself and food, which creates a freedom within for you to enjoy and live your life and lose weight.

How does Hypnotherapy work?Hypnotherapy enables direct access to the unconscious mind, to enable a change to the old eating habits and to resolve any emotional reasons for over-eating. Hypnotherapy and NLP can allow you to have a change of attitude towards the food that you eat. So that you no longer want to snack on crisps or chocolates, or finish everything on your plate even if you are not hungry. This enables you to enjoy eating healthily and at the same time lose weight in a safe and natural way.

The four golden rules to changing your relationship with food- Eat when you are hungry- Eat consciously- Eat what you want- Stop when you feel you feel full. why not indulge yourself just for a day, each time before you begin to eat ask yourself "what does my body want?" it might be a glass of water a pear or a cake whatever it is enjoy it by being aware and conscious.

Of course if this feels good you might want to do it for more than a dayAlexia Elliott Empowerment HypnotherapyFor further details on Empowerment Hypnotherapy's weight loss system please visitAlexia Elliott Empowerment Hypnotherapy Leicester Hypnotherapy in Leicester with hypnotherapist Alexia Elliott.
